This is in spite of the dependencies being clearly available in the list of packages. At times, selecting a package for installation gives a message about a badly-formed package ID. Add/Remove Software gives an error complaining about System Management being locked by the application / usr / lib / Ya ST2 / bin / y2base . If I kill this process and try to open Add/Remove Software again, it starts to open but closes again almost immediately without any apparent error .
